was today. First time for me to participate-usually just a customer. I sold a few cards, pencils with stamped toppers, post it pads, coaster that I made from tiles, ceramic, tumbled and ravertine. I was pleased as I made more than my both rental and met a lot of great people.
There was a lady there selling cards that were handstitched and beaded (like Deborah March) use to do. She sold quite a few. Most of the cards were baby cards that I sold.
I may try it again little later in the fall. This venue is 4 times a year.

Good on you for giving it a go. I bet you do even better next time, closer to Christmas/Mother's Day or Father's day are the best times for a craft show booth I think.

Congratulations! Since you did so well in a summer show, you should definitely do the fall shows. There are always tons of shows to do then.

That was great that you did well. It is nice to make the booth money back for sure and have fun, to boot!

Great job, Paula!
I did a couple when I was still doing decorative painting, but have not tried anything with paper crafting.

I will try it again. It isn't that I expect to make a lot of dough but if I could sell some along to replace supplies with that would be great. I don't know what I would do with all this stuff (paper and embellishments) if I didn't keep making projects.
The other thing that sold well was post it note pads with the decorated outside. I made a cover for them and decorated them with various stamps and embellishments. Sold them cheap because basically it was left over paper and embellishments.

I agree ... if you did good in the summer, I say go for the fall craft shows. They are usually busier with the holidays and all. Sounds like you had fun and that's what matters if you ask me!!
