I'm calling it a book because I don't know what it is called. Once I have a name, I can search for directions. It is a book that when folded is square, say about coaster size. When you open it, it has lots of folds on the triangle and it kind of wanders. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Do you know what it is called?

I know that Sherry has made them before and perhaps has the instructions. At least that is what it sounds like you are talking about...that is an explosion book. HTH.

Oh thank you, Jennifer, that is the name! Ok, so I found a pic of one, but dos anyone have directions? http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=538239
It kind of looks like you just overlap the corner square....hmm maybe I'll give it a try with some scrap paper.

Hi Mary, I linked the website where I posted my explosion book. They are extremely easy to make. I see Lisa emailed you the info on creating it but let me know if you have any other questions. Joanne

Thanks everyone! I figured out the dimensions and the folds, but I was having trouble with folding it all back up. I found some directions on DIY, and I think I've got it figured out now. I wasn't going opposite diagonal folds at first. Here is a link to the directions if anyone else wants to know how to make these. http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/sc_techniques/article/0,2025,DIY_14232_2277761,00.html

Hi Mary. My SIL showed me how to make these books. I then wrote down the instructions so that I'd remember how I did it. If you would like a copy of my instructions, email me and I'll be happy to send them to you.

Have fun making this cute book! Sally
