I fixed it for you.

The correct tags were
<i><font color="magenta">YOUR TEXT</font></i>

The font style that you chose, unfortunately, doesn't work on the site.

Wait....I don't think the color is working in the gallery area... for some reason the posts there are different. Is that possible?
