Click on the link below to see if you are. It's a fun quiz, and I'll toot my own horn because I got a Perfect 8. If answering 8 questions that a 5th grader could answer is tooting your own horn. LOL:laugh:

I'm so embarrased. I don't even know the stuff they are talking about. DH would know it. That's why I married him. Tee hee..

Yeah, well, I feel really stupid! I missed 3....the one about the heart having 4 chambers, the president who made Thanksgiving a holiday, and the one about the area of a rectangular solid.
Well, I bet no 5th grader would know the difference between pigment ink and dye ink...so there!

I missed the president but got the rest. I am BAD at presidents. Really pitiful, Like I know George Washington was first, Lincoln freed the slaves and FDR was in a wheel chair. More recently Clinton was a horn dog and I know stuff about GW Bush of course. I personally have met Jimmy Carter and his wife who is a wonderful lady, but don't know anything about his presidency.

I missed one -- the Thanksgiving question. But I feel like I'm cheating. I HAVE a fifth grader. I've gotten a lot of questions correct on that show because I had just helped her study for a test. No way I would have gotten them right otherwise! (Like: "what era are we in?" Cenozoic!)

This is such a fun show! My excuse for not knowing the answers is always "Well that was over 25 years ago when I learned that!"

Did I get the lowest score? I'm not stupid - really!

I got a 7! I missed the Thanksgiving one, but then, I'm Canadian and have a different Thanksgiving Day, so I forgive myself.

I am not even going to TRY this test. Nicholas and I watch this show every week and he knows most of the answers and laughs at me since I know NONE of them. Nope, I will not even try this quiz and get more depressed at what I do not know. ha ha

I missed the Thanksgiving one also. Had to stop and think about a palindrone though. I like that show, too.

LOL! I saw this in the paper the other day. I'm proud to say that I'm as smart as a 5th grader. Good thing since I homeschooled one! LOL

Ok, I'm the biggest dope, I only got 5. I read the questions too fast & missed 2 that I really should have known. Oh well, I have a 4th & 6th grader so, I don't have to be as smart as a 5th grader.

Thanksgiving one. Since so many did, we probably were absent that day in school, when they taught it. - Nancy

I missed the heart one too. My first instinct said 3.
The other one I missed was the volume of a rectangle.
The Thanksgiving was an easy one for me because both boys
have studied Abraham Lincoln and written a biography.
We love the show and my 7th and 4th graders have a great time
answering the questions and seeing the adults get stumped.
My 13 year old just took it and missed the first question but breezed throught the rest.

well i got a 6 and i closed the window so i cant tell you the ones i got wrong was the i said Pocahontas and it ended up being a name i cant spell let alone think of how it may sound out loud...

and the pronoun...

( now you know why there are so many typos in my posts hee hee )
worst part is we have a 5th grader in the house.
ha i should click it again and see what he gets...

well...
Our fifth grader just took this test...

and got a 3
said the three he got right are things hes actually read about in school...

the rest of it was wild guesses as he has never seen those words in the questions before...
