I noticed that so many of my customers were asking what size block to buy for their stamp sets. So I went to the TAC web site and printed off the Acrylic Block Guide (3 pages). Then I photo copied each page onto a sheet of transparency. Now when my customers ask how big is a 3 x 3 or 1 1/2 x 4 block is, I just pull out these sheets! It has been a big help. Thought I would share.

The new books have the size blocks for each set listed right under the stamp :D

True...but keep that little guide handy...it may be useful to some non-unmounted converts to use when they decide to unmount theirs ........ they can lay the guides over their blocks in say... their SU catty... to get an idea of which ones to use when they start out....or just get an idea in general about the actual sizes of the blocks themselves.

Susan,
I've been seriously thinking about unmounting my su stamps. How would one go about doing that? Where would I get so much cling? Any ideas in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the "right" answer is to tell you that TAC sells it, but....I bought mine through cornish heritage farms dot com, they offer free shipping with orders over $25 and I think they had the best price.

Now, two of my friends took and laid their stamps still on the blocks on a regular size sheet of paper and estimated how many stamps they could get on a page, but you can figure 2 bg per sheet with "a little" left over and approx 6-8 sets per sheet depending on the stamp sizes. That could give you a good ballpark figure on how many to start with.

Of course you can check out Sunday, Int too for EZ cling and blocks too....

Hope that helps

sundayinternational sells it by the case, but I never figured I'd need 100 sheets of it at a time - lol
