Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
I was clearing out some of my shelves, and I found my collection of Technique Junkie newsletters. There were such great techniques described in them, good instructions and colour photos. I had a subscription for about two years, and I saved them all in a binder.
I remember that I was always looking forward to them arriving in the mail, eager to try out some new ideas. Now I am having fun revisiting some old ideas that I haven't used in a while.
Re: Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
I subscribed until a year or so ago. Sadly, I almost never tried any of the techniques! I still have all my newsletters though.

what a treasure trove..have fun!!
:)
Re: Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
I've never heard of it. Hopefully you'll find some good inspiration!!
Re: Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
I remember but never was a subscriber! Hope you enjoy your new found inspiration and will share with us!
Re: Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
I was like Kathy, I subscribed for a few years and while I enjoyed reading them I rarely tried them. There were "art type" supplies needed for so many of them and I never had access to buy them here. I did love looking through them so I can imagine what fun you are having revisiting them.
Re: Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
Yes, a lot of the techniques need some extra supplies, and some of them are quite messy - but you know me - the messier the better!
I hope to get a couple made this week and I will post them in the gallery.
Re: Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
looking forward to seeing them!
Re: Anyone remember "Technique Junkie"
I too would love to see them, maybe I will be inspired to play along with you. Hopefully things will wind down soon with my dad and I can think about having some me time again. And over the years I did buy a lot of those extra supplies to do them and then never did. Imagine that? Hmm, I think the Pearl Ex and the Lumiere's are in that category!!

She is still in business and I believe she's had a booth at some stamp conventions recently.
