Funny story about Shackapalooza

I mentioned the Shackapalooza to my DH when it was first being discussed on the Shack -- and we agreed that I'd think about going. Then a couple of weeks later, I was reading more about it and decided to go ahead and book a room. About a week after that, I got a confirmation in the mail. My DH gets home first and gets the mail. Inside is a confirmation for a hotel he never heard of for a town he never heard of -- you know about the attention span and retention span for men. He was kinda quiet when I got home -- and finally blurted out -- "Honey, what is this all about? Is there something I should know?"

It took me aback for a minute -- I'm thinking -- what is that place and why did I get a confirmation from it -- then I saw the dates and everything clicked. (I guess my retention span isn't much better!).

Anyway -- all is fine. And I can't wait!
