Thread: Pineapple Berry Smoothie - this makes 4 servings!

  1. Pineapple Berry Smoothie - this makes 4 servings!

20 oz can crushed pineapple, do not drain
1 cup Danon Light & Fit Nonfat vanilla yogurt
    1 medium banana
    1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries
    1/2 cup ice cubes

    Blend until smooth. 3 points.

I just made this for a "snack" as I had a very early lunch and I was getting hungry already (its only 2 pm). It was really good and very filling!!

SOunds good, but I am back on low carb, not fruits for me.

  6. Now I have to ask, what do you do with the other 3 servings? I'm thinking if it's good, I'd probably have all 4 servings at once.

    oh yum!!

    I love smoothies!!!
I have a great orange creamsickle smoothie recipe.. maybe you can give me the point value for it
    it's as follows
    1 can orange diet soda
1 sm container light & fit vanilla yougurt
    1/2 orange
    2 ice cubes
    blend all until smooth
it really is yummy and packed with vitiman C..which is so good for the cold season coming up.

  8. This sound YUMMY Sherri and quite similar to the smoothie recipe I always make. I usually make up a double batch on the weekend and freeze them to take to work during the week. I usually use lowfat strawberry-banana yogurt and add kiwi too.

I can't eat pineapple, it gives me asthma and a tingly tongue, even though it is yummy. I will give cindi's recipe a go. Thanks for sharing
