How long to defrost 8lb ham?

I bought a pre-cooked ham for Christmas day. Its just under 8lbs. How long do you think it'd take to defrost it in the fridge. I'm not sure when to pull it out.
Also, does anyone have a good recipe for a homemade spaghetti sauce? I also plan on making stuffed shells and was hoping to try making my own sauce

I read on the internet it said 2-3 days in the fridge. I know a turkey is 1 day per 4 pounds.

I have a very, very easy & good spag sauce recipe:

1lb ground beef
1/4lb sausage (optional)
onion if desired

Saute in pan, drain fat, add to
2 cans tomato sauce
2 cans tomato paste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp oregano (I only us 1/2 tsp since I'm NOT a fan of oregano)
apx 1/4 cup sugar
1.5 paste cans of water

Simmer until smooth & thick. YUMMY. And I pretty much HATE spaghetti but I'll eat this stuff.
