How do I ......
I am stamping an 81/2 x11 in. piece of cardstock with silver and gold pigment ink and then I want to emboss it. How do you all keep the ink wet until you finish stamping so that the embossing powder sticks? Or do I need new ink pads, since they are not "juicy" enough? I am trying to create a background on the cardstock. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
nicole

I've never done an area this big. Could you possibly stamp an small area, pour the EP on that area & move on?

Embossing inks
Embossing inks will stay wet for a good 15 minutes or so, so you should have time to do the background and put embossing powder on it. Stamping on top of embossing powder even when you have heated it to dry., is not going to be easy to then continue stamping. If you want your background silver and gold for example, use glossy paper and do the technique called stone polishing, then you can stamp whatever you like with pigment ink and emboss it. -Hope this is helpful -- Nancy
