Papertrey paper?
I've been noticing a lot of crafters using the white papertrey cardstock. Do you use it? Why do you like it? Where can I buy it?
I go through a lot of white cardstock for card bases and coloring, so I may have to buy in bulk.

I just placed my first order last week and am waiting for mine to arrive. I know Erin loves it so if she loves it I should too.

I love it and it's now the only white card stock I use. You have to order it from www.papertreyink.com - I'm sure you will love it. It so silky smooth to the touch but heavy and durable. It's the only cardstock that I have ever used that doesn't pill when I use markers, etc.

I am waiting for my order to arrive too. As a SU demo, of course I use SU paper for almost everything, but for my own personal cardmaking....I never use white paper for the base because it is too flimsy. I love SU card stock, but I wish their white paper was heavier. There's nothing worse than a card made with a white base that can't stand up on it's own, you know?? I hate floppy cards! So I've always used colored CS for the base of my cards. I ordered 2 packs of the papertrey white though because I've heard it's great. Then I can use white as a base sometimes if I want.

Can it be run thru your printer? I can no longer run SU cardstock thru my printer. I either need a new printer (and it seems lots of people have problems so I may not find a printer that works w/SU Cardstock) or a new cardstock.

I used to be able to run SU card stock through my old printer (HP)all the time. I notice that with my new printer(Canon), it doesn't want to go through. So I think it varies by the printer. If I had known, I might have rethought my printer choice.

I USED to be able to run SU cardstock thru my current printer. Suddenly, last Christmas, it decided it DIDN'T want to take the cardstock anymore. Dh's all in one won't take it at all (it's fairly new). I've been listening to what printers people have that do work (does work?) and it seems to be older HPs. I really, really want to be able to print on colored paper!

Is there a way you can hand feed it Suzi? I think I can do that with my new printer, but to be honest, my new printer has so many bells & whistles that I can't figure out. So I just don't do it if I can't figure out how.
That is really strange that it worked and then all the sudden it didn't. Weird!

I guess it just wore out the wheelie things that sucks the paper in. I thought that maybe I could hand feed it thru the back, where I REMOVE the SU cardstock 'cause it "jams" but, you can't "run" the printer w/o that back panel on it. Maybe I need to shop w/a piece of SU paper so I can test it.
