I have a question about prisma markers & copics

can they be used together? I mean they are they same kind of ink, right? so can you use them both and will they blend together ok?

I have used them on the same project but to say they will blend together is a stretch IMHO. Prisma's are bolder than copics and don't seem to blend as well. Yes they are the same ink, but the Prismas seem to dry faster for some reason. I would use alot of colorless blender if you want to mix them.

    yes,
I still own like 3 colors of prisma markers ( that i use as skin tones) and the colorless blender marker ( for melting the pigments of prisma pencils) the copic colorless blender marker is more like a bleach pen...

anyways yes, they color in a similar way so I dont see why not?

  4. I have not tried that yet but now you've motivated me to go play. My first alcohol markers were the Prismacolor ones and they are great. But, I like the color choices you get with the Copics so I had to get them too. I am going to try out the mixing. (Hope I don't blow up my stamp room. LOL!)
