I know alot of you do not enter the Stamp Shack on the main page of the website so you might have missed the following announcement.

The Stamp Shack is currently taking applications for three (3) additional moderators.

Basic moderator duties include deleting or modifying inappropriate posts, educating newcomers about forum guidelines, and helping out our users in regards to their problems to the best of your ability. It is imperative that you are familiar with the rules and operations of The Stamp Shack website. For example, do you know where the rules and regulations are located? Do you know how to edit a post? Do you know how to add an avatar to a profile? Do you know why a user might experience a blank screen while trying to upload to the gallery? Do you know how to direct a user to join the birthday list? Do you know how to change the font color in the chatroom? These are very typical questions that are asked on a regular basis and it is best if you know how to answer them.

The applications are open to 'Shack Members' only. If you are a Junior member, please consider posting more often so that you can achieve 'Shack Member' status. This only takes 20 posts to our message board and/or gallery!

To apply for Moderator status, visit the main page of the Stamp Shack website and click on the application form. Fill out the required information, and email the completed form back to me. Members chosen to moderate for The Stamp Shack will be notified by email on January 1st, 2007. Your duties as Modertor will begin on January 1st, 2007.
