    Flying to Shackapalooza???

    Hey!
Have any of you bought your plane tickets yet?
Lesa and I prefer non-stop from Boston. The best I have seen is over $500.
DH is not happy with this one!
    LOL
Have you found anything cheaper, and if so, where???
We'll fly out of Boston to Detroit.

Joanie, just for the heck of it, check into Chicago, Fort Wayne, Lansing. Those are airports I checked when I was looking last year.

You can't change yesterday, but you can ruin today by worrying about tomorrow.

I keep checking everyday -- Memphis to Detroit and so far I've gotten $425 r/t. That's a little too much for me to spend. I'm thinking we still have a few months so hopefully I can catch a cheaper flight.

Not exactly sure what airports Southwest Airlines use, but I live near the Detroit airport and I am flying next week to Philly and I got tickets for $69 each way or around $150 round trip and I made reservations for Xmas and they were only $10 more. Other airlines were around $400 - $500 to go to Philly. You do have to go to their website directly, they are usually not on Kayak, Cheaptickets, etc. Also, check Kayak.com they will give you loads of options. Good luck.

Southwest has some super flight deals except they don't fly out of Memphis.

If you want to fly Southwest try flying to Midway Airport in Chicago ... it's on the south side and is a shorter drive than O'Hare to the Shackapalooza.
