No more instant notification??

I was wondering, it's been 2 days now that I don't get any instant notification if I have a new private message or a new message post on a thread I've posted in... I check at my option and everything is settle for me to get those. Is there any change to decrease the amount of data going out from the Shack? I am the only one who noticed this?

I loved that feature but I would understand if it is turned down to decrease the amount of data used on the site.

Pascale, I checked your User CP and you definately have the boxes ticked to receive instant notification. I think this is a question for Sherry.

I've been wondering if the e-mail coming from the stamp Shack were on my exclusion list in my hotmail account and if I'm right and the e-mail finished by @stamp-shack.com it's not on my exclusion list either... If it does finished by something else, it may be because of that but I don't know what it is since I'm deleting it when I've read those...

I'm finding that the notification is not consistent. Some days I get lots of notifications and other days I don't receive any.

Ok, I've been looking with my men eyes... I've found why I did not get it in my exclusion of my e-mail... I now get it ! sorry for the trouble!!!

Pascale: Your personal settings and The Stamp Shack settings are correct so you should be receiving notifications. If you are not then there is a problem on your end. Either there is an issue with your email server or you have inadvertantly blocked mail from The Stamp Shack. I have done extensive troubleshooting on this issue today trying to find a problem and everything at The Stamp Shack is working fine.

So sorry I couldn't be of more help.

To Teresa: If your email notification is sporadic, it is definitely an issue with your email server. The Stamp Shack server is programmed to send out the email notification the moment a new message arrives in your inbox.
