    Cheese Souffle for Christmas Breakfast

    Cheese Soufflee for Christmas Breakfast
    Joanie Mowers
1 and a half jars of Old English Cheese (approx. 8 oz.)
    6 Eggs slightly beaten
6 slices of White Bread: tear into pieces
    2 Cups Milk
1 Stick of Butter: cut into pieces
I spray a casserole bowl with Pam.
I add the egg, cheese, milk and bread mixture.
    Stir slightly to coat ingredients.
Place pieces of butter randomly in mixture.
Make the night before, cover and keep in refrigerator.
In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
    ENJOY!!!

That sounds wonderful-perfect for a cold New England Christmas Morning.

I've never heard of jars of Old English Cheese. Where do you buy this?

We find them at the grocery store.
We used to use slices of the Old English, but it isn't available around here anymore.
If you can get the slices, use 8 slices torn into pieces. I think it's Kraft.
The jars are in the refrigerated section, DH found them above the sour cream in our grocery store...they have blue covers and they are in little glass jars...about the size of a juice glass. Buy 2 of them and use about 1 and a half. Use the rest as a spread on crackers...yum!
Good luck...this is just the yummiest!

This sounds delish Joanie. I'm going to give it a go later this week.
