Ellie my dog King Charles Spaniel, if it is through the night I have a touch lamp, she puts it on with her nose and I then know she is really desperate,and also I was looking after my sons dog last week and did not hear him whine so she put he light on and when I looked at her, she just looked at him as much as to say sorry mum but is him who needs out. she has many clever little tricks.
