I have it and am not sure how to use it. I THINK I heard I was to first stamp with Versa Mark and then add the Heat n Stick powder and heat emboss...then add pearl ex and heat again.....
is that right?
any additional tips?
THANK YOU!

Cheryl, I use Pearlex to make my own glimmer mist. Just a fingernail full in a minimister with water and a few drops of re-inker makes a great sparkly background
Cheryl---If you go to this link at SCS: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/C88/
then scroll down to the P's, you will find a bunch of different tutorials for different things with Pearl Ex.

I have some and I use it like Sarah. It makes great shimmer paper!
You can use Pearl Ex with a combo of DISTILLED water and Gum Arabic to form a paint like consistency and then paint it on with a paint brush. The Gum Arabic (available in the artist supply area of Michaels and art stores) acts as a fixitive and the Pearl Ex will not rub off.
I use the little plastic cups that come with Children's Tylenol or Nyquil and use this recipe: 1 part Gum Arabic
5 DROPS of Distilled Water
1 part Pearl Ex Power
** If the mixture is too thick, just add distilled water (one drop at a time) and stir until it is like paint.

I just stamp on dark cardstock with VersaMark, then brush Pearl Ex over it. Then take a swiffer dust cloth and swiffer lightly over it to remove the excess powder. The pearl ex will stick to the VersaMark.

Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and links. I always learn something new from you clever ladies
two more questions:
Sarah: what mixure do you use for your mist?
and
are you other ladies saying that it does NOT need to be heated?
