Emily is now in training for the first ever Powder Puff football game next week at the high school. We have never had one at the school so it will be something to watch.

For those not familiar with it, here's a short video .. you will notice girls are playing football and the boys are the cheerleaders (I didn't watch this video long enough to see if they had boy cheerleaders or not but that's what Emily says its going to be at our school). I wonder if i can tape Emily playing. The first practice is today.

We also found out its $2,000 to go to NY for the Macys Day parade. I have no idea why its that much. Fundraising is in full swing as you can imagine!!

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the Powder Puff football games I played in High School! Ours was Jr girls vs Sr girls and we won both years. I remember being so sore I could hardly move after the game!

I can Imagine....Funding raising has been a way of life for me for many years....lol....and they only get more intense as they get older...College fundraising is insane! But I am thankful that fundraising is possible. If she is serious about Cheer you should have her check out Colleges that will give her scholarships...there are many out there. My DD has a full ride at Hawaii Pacific University... so some colleges do give decent scholarship for Cheer.
