Re: Cookie Recipe -Minnesota Munchers
I looked at the package of toffee bits. What I used was made by heath Bits o Brickle.
The ingredients onf the package say sugar, dairy/butter , almonds roasted in cocoa butter. It's manufactured by the Hershey Company .
It makes a ton of cookies. It's the type of cookie to bring somewhere, so you don't have them haning around your house, cause you can't resist them.

Re: Cookie Recipe -Minnesota Munchers
Nancy--you have an eagle eye! I see that the directions mention both vanilla and flour, but the list of ingredients doesn't include them. Do you have the preportions that we would need, Shelley?

Re: Cookie Recipe -Minnesota Munchers
I noticed no flour either! They sound sorta like a chocolate chip cookie -- if they do have flour in them!
You can't change yesterday, but you can ruin today by worrying about tomorrow.

I found the recipe on the Taste of Home site, it's 2 1/2 C flour. They also include 2 T vanilla after beating the eggs and then with the flour and other dry ingredients 1/4 t salt. Otherwise directions are the same.
Dang it and I was at the store already and didn't get the toffee bits. Need to go add it to my list.

Re: Cookie Recipe -Minnesota Munchers
Sarah, toffee bits are like a hardened caramel. It often comes in a candy bar with a chocolate covering. Do you have anything like that?
As for the no flour bit---just another reason to buy pre-made cookie dough! hee hee
