I was using a new set from Stampin' Up's mini catalog, Watercolor Trio with my watercolor Crayons.
First, I “painted” the stamp with my aquapainter filled with water to wet the stamp.
This enables your watercolor crayon to glide more easily and to get a better application of color. Then, I went back and added more water so it will re-moisten the crayon and stamp a good image.
I couldn't get the stamp that had been colored with my crayons as wet as I wanted it, so I grabbed my Shimmer Mist (recipe at the end of topic) and sprayed my stamp.
I was pleasantly surprised to get a beautiful, shimmery image when I stamped it! Woohoo!

To make the Shimmer Mist, fill a bottle with Rubbing Alcohol and add a few drops of Shimmer Paint to it. It’s not an exact science. Start with a couple drops, spray and see if it’s enough shimmer for you. Want more shimmer? Add more paint!
