Thread: One of my pet peeves!

    One of my pet peeves!

I'm sure I've got more than one pet peeve, but this one is near the top of my list. Why do grown men and women wear PJ's out in public! I dropped my kid off to school today and while sitting in que, I watched this grown couple (being generous here were 35+) walk out of the school in pj's and sweat shirts! We had a two hour delay because of snow, so it was 10:45 a.m. How hard would it have been to get out of those checkered linen pj's and put on, oh I don't know, a pair of jeans or even sweat pants! But pj's. oh come on I know young kids and teens wear those all the time out in public now, but some of those pj's are cute and I know for a fact many of them cost more than jeans now a days. But grown men and women! Thanks for letting my rant guys.

Yeah, I guess the sweat pants wouldn't be a whole lot better, especially the one's that gather at the ankle. I was thinking of running pants or the sweats that are like regular pants! lol

Drives me crazy!! One of these days, I'm going to wear my flannel nightgown to target, just to see if anyone notices!!!

They'll notice, especially if it's in summer!

Last friday night was "Movie Night" at grandmonster's school. When I dropped him off, I was in my uniform. After my shift was done, I removed my EMS pants, and lounged around in my long johns. I went to pick GM up at school like that. I wait, and I wait. Finally one of the parents stops at my car and tells me, I have to go in and get him. Nope, no way. She says not to worry, several parents have picked up kids in PJs and long johns. You got to be kidding me!!! I sat in the car, I figured sooner or later they'd get sick of him and send him out. And they did....But I won't make that mistake again!

lol Lori! So sorry that happened to you. But these parents got out of their car and walked their kid to the school door. They didn't go in! The buses were already there, and so were lots of parents dropping of their kids. Also, there were crosswalk guards. Whatever their reasons, this isn't the first I've seen grown ups walking around in PJ's. In the middle of the afternoon they are at grocery stores, or at target. I just find this annoying

ROTFL!!! I'm always scared if I do that my car will break down or something and everyone would see me! I have been known to go to McD's drive-thru in my jammies.

When my kids were in school, our car was in the basement/garage, so I drove them to town in my nightie. Until I got stopped by the police....
