Thread: Crockpot Spaghetti

  1. Crockpot Spaghetti

    Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce

    1 lb ground beef
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 cans tomatoes
    8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup beef bouillon (boil 1 cup water and add beef bouillon cube)
    2 tsp parsley
    1 tsp brown sugar
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper

Cook meat, onion and garlic. Drain. Add to crockpot with other ingredients. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Cook spaghetti on stove. Add cooked spaghetti to sauce. Mmmmmm. This makes alot - enough for 10 people and its great as leftovers.

    Re: Crockpot Spaghetti

Are the 2 cans tomatoes the diced 14/15 oz size?

They are the 14.5 oz size and you can either use diced or whole tomatoes. If using whole tomatoes, just cut them up with a knife but they will dissolve down.

I always wondered if the ground beef was cooked or not before adding it to the crockpot. Thanks Sherri.
