Re: Prayers needed for a safe return

Here's the latest from my SIL. I apologize for copying her email but I didn't know how to condense the info.

I have another update since yesterday. I did manage to talk to Graham 2
    >more times yesterday. Again, just a random fluke of me reaching him.
    >They can not make any international calls out.
    >The first time he was in a convoy transport on their
    >way to the SNC airport camp. (Their "camps" are not tents in the desert.
    >They are like apartment complexes, just self contained with their
    >living arrangements
    >and office buildings). The roads were in a bit of chaos but they had
    >Libyan civilians taking them. The Libyans have been extremely
    >helpful. No
    >problems getting through several road blocks. Second call he was at the
    >camp (~ 4:00 A.M. my time ??) That camp also was attacked by looters.
    >Again, no one was injured but all company vehicles (we're talking
    >millions of dollars of equipment)
    >and supplies were taken. No food, water, electricity, and,
    >ironically for Libya, no gas. So, no
    >computer internet access. I have been trying non- stop since
    >about 9:00 this morning to reach him on his cell but no luck. But
    >they are safe and
    >have accommodations. They do not have any more info re: evacuation
    >plans.
    >The airport is closed so no planes can come in. I am in contact with
    >two of
    >the wives of Graham's co- workers, one in Romania and one in Cape Town,
    >South Africa. We are trying to keep all in the loop in case anyone
    >hears
    >anything. News reports are conflicting. And no reporters are
    >allowed in Libya.
    >The world is rallying to evacuate
    >all non- citizens. And calm the violence. I'm sure something will
    >happen
    >soon and all will be home safely. I'll keep you updated.

Keep praying all will get out safely.

We just received an email from Graham. He's safely ensconced in an apartment near the airport waiting for evacuation. No plans yet but hopefully soon. He is a delightful person. Through all this his only complaint is that they don't have ice cream for dessert. He's such an upbeat guy.
