Look at the altered windows about 1/3 down under March 21. http://scrappergirl.typepad.com/ I have been wanting to find a couple of old windows and put mirrors in them to use in our guest bath. These are so great that she has altered for pic frames etc... shadow boxes would be a great craft fair find if someone has access to old/new windows.

I had a feeling they might be kind of pricey. It will give me something to focus on for the summer to be looking for something.

Gary got me some at the dump 2 years ago..I knocked teh glass out of them wound Christmas greenery and light around it the added a wood snowman and stars and some red berries, i sold all5..fast at 35.00 a piece. the Tracey got us a couple when they tore down teh house next to her moms..I made a shelf out of that & it hangs on my wall..I love it.

ok, here is my dusty shelf. I loved how this old window was naturally distressed and I tried to match that in the wood pieces I used to turn it from a window into a shelf.
