    Thank you. It's hard for me to explain how much everyone's words mean to me.

    I am so sorry Renu. You are in my prayers. I just can't imagine the pain of losing "man's best friend". My precious golden retriever Kona, will be 9 this year. When I think about 'that time' I get all upset and cry.
    Please know that your furry baby is at peace. {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

    Thank you Lani. You've got lots of time. Enjoy your Kona. Love your avatar. I've been remiss here it seems. Welcome to the shack. It's the best group of ladies anywhere.

    Sending lots and lots of BIG ((((HUGS)))).I know how close I am to my doggie and know this must hurt really bad. They say it's better to of loved and lost then to have never loved at all but it still hurts all the same in the end.

    I agree Christie. My DH travelled a lot when we first got married and it was extremely important to me to feel safe with him gone. That dog did it for me. he was my safety blanket when Dh wasn't home. So, I have to definitely agree. It's better to have loved and been loved then to have never loved at all.

    Thank you akindajoy. I know as time passes lots of good memories will surface. I'm an avid photographer, and have tons and tons of pics, so lots of good memories. As each day passes, it's easier to remember that.
