Need a few prayers...

I was getting ready to post and ask for prayers when I read and replied to Penelope's post on her upcoming chemo...

Just so happens that I'm scheduled to go on Wednesday for "further workup" on my mammogram, which I got on March 7. The letter says for me not to be alarmed, but how can I not be??? My previous mammogram was March 2011, I'm 49 and my doctor said I should have them done every 2 years... I'm so nervous that I can barely function.

I would appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers in this time of uncertainty in my life!

I am sending good thoughts and positive viibes your way. I know exactly how you are feeling. It was just last year I had a recall to have another, more extensive mammo done after my routine one. The wait was a long one!!! I hope you have as good a report as I did. My spot was benign.

No matter how they word those letters, it's hard not to worry when the doctors want to do "further testing". I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, MJ

I too have had to go in for another look. Sometimes even with today's great technology things just aren't as clear as they would like them to be. Better that they go back for another look to be sure though, right? Keep us updated and I'll be keeping a good thought for you too.

Prayers and thoughts are coming to you. It's natural to worry---but they can see so much more these days it's amazing. At least they are being proactive. Please give us an update asap.
