has anyone heard of this product - Panpastel?

Thanks Shelley... they're certainly not cheap. I knew there was a reason I didn't rush right out to buy them But at least I know where to get them when I'm ready. I'd also like to watch some of the videos before I even think about taking on yet another craft challenge.

They have been very popular at my LSS. We had an international artist come out and teach classes. I think it was Donna Downey. They used them on canvas and in art journals I think.

I have some. They are like chalk. I used some on a canvas but it does rub off so you have to seal it or use it with a binder of some sort.

Mary, can you explain what makes them better than chalk? I mean, why wouldn't I just use chalk?

They are smoother/softer than regular chalk. And very highly pigmented. Still as messy as chalk. That's just my experience with it. I haven't watched any videos or tutorials on the proper use of them yet.
