    I tried faux Silk and liked the results.

    It was really very easy but had a nice look about it. Stamp image on white tissue paper, then crumple it into a ball. The smaller the ball, the more wrinkles you get. Mine was the size of a marble, for comparison's sake.

    I posted a card in my gallery that I made at the crop this weekend. It was a case from Pinterest where I saw the technique.

    I forgot to mention not to try to smooth out all the wrinkles when you lay the tissue on the gluey card stock! A natural tendency, I know! You want them to look like the silk!

    Heather...I'm stealing a peek at the gallery before I go to work, and I LOVE your flowers...who makes that stamp? Great job on all your work...makes me want to play hookey and stay home and stamp!!!

    Patty, the faux silk stamp set is a retiring Stampin Up one. I think it was called Just Believe. The blue card is Close To My Heart.
