I was watching an episode of Alaska state troopers. They show footage in Fairbanks pretty often. Tonight they were in Bethel and said that a gallon of milk is $9.50!! Holy cow! I know stuff is expensive but man, that's crazy. I pay $2.89 for a gallon. If everything is that expensive there how do people afford to live there.

We pay here in germany for 1 liter milk 0,66 Euro - 1,69 Euro.
