Description: Here are the two maze books I have been working on. I just finished them. Each book features 7 pictures (color and b&w) of my daughter. Opposite each page is a small scene using all justjohanna images. The cover scallop oval is pop doted to the cover of each book. They are for my mother and mother in law, although the green one is my favorite...I might keep it and give them naked photos instead. :) TIP: I highly recommend stamping everything BEFORE you put the covers on...don't follow the video start to finish if you are embellishing the books. Thanks for looking!

Description: I wanna ride! There's a lot going on with this card, we appreciate your patience. :) I did my scotch tape rip off method on the background, (whilst wearing pants) masked it off, stamped the script with Ranger Vintage Photo ink. The cut out heart 'track' is inked with Ranger Distress ink in tattered Rose and heat embossed with Tattered Rose Distress EP. justjohanna scooter, bird and plume images also inked with Vintage Photo. :)As always, thank you for looking!!

Description: This is a card I made for Judy's B&W/Splash of Color Swap. I used Holtz Distressed Embossing Powder in Tattered Rose for the dragonflies on the left. Description: Still working with my microglaze.. (Microglaze is a resist type medium that protects paper. Hence, you can brush it onto paper, and ink over it in selected areas. You can find it at www.microglaze.com. I believe it is a Judikins product.) This is pigment ink on regular cardstock. Image colored with gamsol and prismacolors. Description: This is the card that will accompany the coasters I posted earlier. Simple man birthday card, but more of a coloring experiment for me. It took a few attempts, but I am very happy with these results. This card is aged and colored with a combination of dye and pigment inks using "microglaze", my new favorite product. Description: I am always prepared. :) This is a cool book that I bought at Papyrus this afternoon. Don't you love it? It's pretty enough on its own, but today I took time to stamp and label every ink I have, all my sentiments, all my twinkling h2o's, alcohol inks, you get the picture. I love how it came out! PLUS I looked up the price that I paid for everything and penciled it in there too! Now- when someone says "This is a good deal." I will really know if it is a good deal! I'm all ready for the stamp convention :)

Stuck On My Favorite Couch...

Description: Ok- so I am still stuck on my couch inspired tuft card. Although it doesn't show in the scan, the patterned paper here is holding batting in place. I sewed the patterned paper to cardstock in hopes of creating higher tufts. Next time, I will stuff more batting into the card. In real life, the colors are much more desirable and the card stands up a good inch off the table. LOL (Card couture!) justjohanna background, heat embossed with a custom ink color I mixed. (Well, not really, but as it turns out, the brown and green ink I was using without cleaning my stamp in between made the perfect ink color for this project. Sounds fancy, right?) Foof-a-la buttons: the best $6 I ever spent! Get ready..I have about 200 more buttons to use up! LOL As always, thanks for taking a look :)

Description: I made 15 paper cones out of Basicgrey papers tonight for my daughter's birthday party this weekend. Each cone has 2 justjohanna heat embossed cupcakes and a heat embossed "bring on the cupcakes" sentiment. I glittered the confetti on the frosting. Each bag holds an A4 cello bag stuffed with chocolates. Organza ribbon from the Michaels $1 bin. I was able to get 2 cones per 12x12 sheet of paper and each finished cone stands about 5.75" tall. As always, thanks for looking! :) (Smells like Halloween in here...)

My Special Valentine...

Description: ...there was a moment today, when I had to stop and ask myself if I was crazy. After I thought about it for a couple of minutes, I decided to revisit the Christmas garland plan and revise it for Valentine's day. (Ergo, the answer was yes.) This was a sad little garland on a sad little ribbon that I bought at Target today for the sum of $1.07. I brought him home, took it apart and mounted it on layers of cardstock (to give you an idea of the size, the black layer is 4x3") and strung it with Michael's $1 ribbon. I tied more ribbon through the holes on the letters to fill them in and versamarked hearts on the black layers. I like how this turned out! As always, thank you for looking :)

I added a touch of glitter to the ice cubes and then used Antique Linen distress ink for the light justjohanna background. I hear Austin Powers music in the distance... Description: justjohanna images / michael's $1 sentiment paper pierced and heat embossed, attached to splash art card painted with Ranger Alcohol Inks. the camera flash is reflecting onthe pearl alcohol ink and is blocking out the center colors of the card. IRL, there are more circles bursts of color in the center. I like how the pearl makes these cards iridescent. Thanks for taking a look :)
