Wax Paper Resist

Description: This technique Wax Paper Resist is a new one for me. I like the resuets. Funny thing happened when I plugged in my iron it got hot, then blew a gasket and died. I guess from the shock of being used. Ha. I used a tulip from Terrific Tulits, and the butterfly from Essence of Love. TFL Glinda

Description: This card is for Ethels Virtual Swap. I colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I used the Argyle Embossing Folder from Cuddlebug. I embossed on white c/s and then run the Ballet Blue Ink Pad over the top of the embossing. I distressed the edges of the image and the embossing folder. The brads were a RAK and I don't know who makes them. TFL Glinda

Description: I don't seem to be able to get a straight scan on these but anyway here are the Post-It Note Holders I made. I use Antique Doll PP on the one, and Snowflake PP on the other. I stamped a small image from the new Hostess Level 2 set called Deer Friends. I used my Scalloped Punch also. Hope you like these. Glinda

Description: I have cased another of Michelle Zindorf's card. Here is the link to her card http://zindorf.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/07/03/chickadee-in-the-woods-tutorial/ I pretty much followed her instructions as given in the tutorial. I added a ribbon that I got from J's, The sentiment and image is from Touch of Nature by SU. I used a light apricot and run it thru the CB. Hope you like what I have done. It was a lot of fun. I did heat emboss the bird with clear ep. Any questions please let me know. Glinda

Description: I used a new technique for the b/g on this card. I misted white c/s with water, then took two colors from the Spectrum ink pad and ran the angled on the c/s. Then I crumpled the c/s in my hand and then straightened it out and let dry. After it dried, I ironed it. I matted this on Blue, then the lime green card. Stamped on Wisper White C/S and colored with my Prismacolored pencils. Added some blue for the sky, and additional green around the grass. TFL Glinda

My friend Joan (JMT2) had given me some sheets of PP from a Far East Pack she had bought from J'S and I used it with this card. The cardstock is a Pearlescet Pack from Wal-Mart. Description: I got a new to me stamp set this week, and I just had to use this sweet rabbit. The set Tender Toile is retired from SU, The B/G is also a retired SU set called Toile Blossoms. I used my scalloped scissors on the dark green strip. SU ribbon in layered in the middle of this. Main image is stamp on the large scalloped oval. I colored using prismacolor pencils and SU markers.
