OMG... I am speechless! I love all these beautiful ornaments. Years ago I made some by swirling craft paint in the inside using the instructions for "Marbelous Balls" by Michaels.

This new technique is awesome and the results are fabulous. Would the talented ladies please share instructions on creating these beauties.

If it's already out there, then please excuse me since I haven't been in here too often in the last couple of weeks due to illness!

Its soooo super simple!!
The tutorial I knew about is now deleted I believe (it was from a DT I was on that closed).
Squirt a couple of drops of one color in the ornament and swirl around. Let it dry (this only takes a minute or so) and squirt another color in. Do this with as many colors as you like.
Or if you want the colors to mix a little, dont wait until one coat is fully dry before adding the other.
The hardest part is avoiding the splash marks at the bottom when you add colors.
Oh, and they look cool too if after the last color is added if you throw some glitter in there before the ink completely dries.

This sounds like so much fun, I'm definitely looking forward to a tutorial!

If this is the one you use craft paint in it takes a long time for the paint to dry. You have to start adding some paint in and slowly turn the ornament so the paint moves. Also the less paint you use the better.

I assume you are asking for directions on using alcohol ink on ornaments, not paint, right? Last year whoopsiedaisy posted these instructions that really helped me a lot! http://stamp-shack.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1653 I was using too much blending solution when I first tried it, and I made a mess! You really don't need any blending solution at all for the ornaments. Give it a try, it is really easy!

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for... I didn't realize it was painted on the outside... I thought it was done in the inside like the craft ink...

Christine is right... the craft ink takes a while to dry! I did about 36 of them about 7 years ago. I'll try to locate them so I can take pictures of them!

Thanks for the info!
