DH had to fill up for $4.02/gal. for regular gas yesterday.

Gas is way more expensive (there is no public transportation option here since DH goes in to work before 6am and we live where there are minimal public transportation options), natural gas is more expensive, our city is raising electricity somewhere between 15% to 36% this year, water is up, food is up (and since we're buying gluten free, casein free, preservative free, and organic, its really up).....okay, who am I kidding? Its all up!!!!

Reworking our budget is getting to be a pain in the you know what!!!

Okay.....done venting! Off to spend money on gas to get to Whole Foods and more money on groceries!

Well, here in Canada we use litres, BUT, I converted our litres to U.S. gallons and the price, per U.S. gallon, that we pay for gas is approx. ....... $5.00/gal.

We're more than $4/gallon here, in Nebraska, also.

We are not going to do much driving this summer, unless absolutely necessary.

Omg, Barb! That is crazy! It is going up fast here in Mass. Last week I paid $3.70 but in my town it is like $3.89. I really dont like this especially since I drive 45-60 min to work each day and then back again. I figured it out as of now...it costs me a 1/4 tank for a round trip to work..yikes!

$3.70 ish here, but 3 mins. North and it's $4.00 and up. I remember a few years ago that Europeans were paying $5.00 and up. I wonder what they are paying now.

Here too! The crazy thing is it varies from $3.99 to $4.17. That makes no sense to me! And my low fuel light JUST went on today so I am going to have to pay it :(

There is a gas station that is having its grand opening today and gas is $3.48. You should have seen the line of cars waiting to fill up. There were police escorts and everything. At the time, I didn't even realize that their gas was cheap. I have just stopped paying attention because it's so depressing! It is unbelievable that $3.48 is cheap gas to us these days. ugh....

I just filled up at the pump - $1.37 per litre which is equal to $5.19 per gallon. Crazy!!

This makes me so sad 'cause I seriously doubt it will EVER go down. I don't understand WHY it's so high. I don't think it's a shortage since we now MUCH friendlier w/Iraq & Kuwait, right??

It's $3.98 in my town & $3.76 across the river in MO. Here in Bolivar (North of Spfld, MO) it's $3.63. Wanna guess if I'm gonna fill up before I leave?? I wanna take some home w/me!

I filled up tonight and it was $4.29/gal, but that was for premium. The sign said diesel was $5.05/gal. I thought diesel was less processed than regular gas, so how can diesel cost MORE than regular? Makes no sense.

I went shopping last night and was surprised to see that milk was $5.39/gal. That is crazy.

Now I know I'm whining here, but... every year my DH and I spend a week's vacation with my sister and her DH. We almost always go to Cancun or Riviera Maya and each year the price goes up, but this year it is WAY up. We usually pay about $2r00-2600/wk for the two of us for an all-inclusive, but the same places are now going for over $3300 for the week. I wonder how much of that is airfare/fuel? I'm thinking of not going or finding somewhere else to go. I wonder how much it would cost to go to Disneyworld for the week? I'm going to go cry in my coffee now. At least I can still afford coffee.
