the magazine I'm in! Several times. I'll do a list later. SHERRI THACKER YOU ARE IN IT too. It gets better! Two of my cards are Hanna Stamps cards!! She pays $100 for published cards! ONE HUNDRED! I think it's per card too!! I think I get $200 for this! I can't stand it!

As far as I can tell that's my only paying card in there. Bella doesn't pay right? I have a bella.

I also have an Inkspirations *Sherry's company* in there. And some other stuff too. I haven't had time to really look.

Which Just Cards! issue is that, Erin? I'm supposed to be in the next one coming up. I got a letter two weeks ago saying my cards were about to be published, but I didn't pay attention to which issue of Just Cards! Can you check to see if any of my cards are in this issue?

Ethel, are you sure it is "Just Cards" that you're in? The reason I'm asking is I've never gotten an advance notice from them. Also, I just quickly glanced through mine and don't see any Ethel's listed. :( Unless I missed it. I have the new Summer '08 issue.

I already heard back from Krissy at Hanna Stamps. It IS $100 per card. I'm so excited!

I already worked it out with Brian half will go in my stamp budget *which you may remember I blew recently! haha* and half we will just put in the bank towards family stuff.

Sherri I found two more Thacker Cards for you! (That's what Brian calls your cards "Thacker Cards") You have Sending y ou Birthday Wishes which as a stinking adorable house mouse rabbit with a hat on and one of your signature Sherri Circles for the greeting. You colored him with pencils and gamsol and you ROCKED it.

Then there is on the facing page Birthday Candles which is a Penny Black one with a TON of chickens looking at a birthday cake with a bunch of candles and they have a fire extinquisher. Says you colored it with pencils too, it's SUPER vivid, you rock the pencils girl.

Vicki, I do not know! I kept thinking it would be just for the first few months... get a few cards published, get heard of... But it's still an active offer. I rekon they make a lot of money from card magazines though. I know I buy a lot of stamps because of awesome cards I see in magazines.

Does anyone know how much it costs to run an ad in a magazine? Maybe they see it like that?

It is so much cheaper for smaller companies to pay gals for having their cards published (on their own per say) than paying for advertising to the magazine itself.

Shoppers buy because they see cute samples made, not just because they see an ad with a website, know what I mean? :)

There is soooooooooooo much truth to this. That's why I love to buy the stamps that I do. Mostly because I see a cute project in a magazine.
