View Full Version : Can you believe its almost been a whole year since my dear friend Robin passed away?

She passed away a year ago in September!!

This year sure has gone by fast and I still miss talking to her everyday!! Every once in awhile I think oh I need to call Robin and I can't. I still get teary eyed every so often too. Her mom is here visiting her kids for the week and a few of us are taking her to lunch on Friday so I am looking forward to seeing her. She seems excited to go out with us too.

It really doesn't seem that long. It's nice that you are going to get to spend some time with her mom. I think it will be good for both of you.

Oh Sherri..this year has gone by fast..l'm so glad your still in touch with her family, and spending time with her mom is so Special..l agree with Christie it will be good for both of you..Big Hugs..

I know what you are going though...it will be two years in January that my friend Cathy passed from cancer. About a month ago- I picked up the phone and dialed her phone number. As I pushed the last number- I cried and cried...then hung up!

Have a good time with Robin's family!

Wow! A year already? Doesn't seem like it. It's nice that you are able to keep in touch with her family. Visiting with them helps keep Robin's memory alive and I'm sure it helps them as well. Enjoy your lunch with them.

Gosh, that is hard to believe. Did her husband keep the ring she bought for him? I can't remember.

The time seems to have past so quickly, but the sense of loss doesn't diminish. Have a good time at lunch with Robin's mom.

You know I don't know if he kept the ring or not. I will look on his finger if I remember or I will just come out and ask him and see what he says. That is, IF I remember.

My goodness, time goes by so fast. It was a year in July that Paul died.

It's amazing how fast the time goes by....Oct. will be one year when my good friend and CM consultant Judy passed away from leukemia, and I often wonder how her husband and 4 year old daughter are doing.

That's nice that you guys are having lunch! I can't wait to hear about it!
