WOW I for one love to see those change of leaves - but then we don't get the snow like you all do in the winter either. Mmmmmm. Blueberry pie sure sounds great!!!

Sounds like a fun day. I was wondering what you were up to! I think I've been to that fishing hole before...the one with the big pipe. Where were you?

Sounds like a wonderful day, Cindi!

I noticed that the leaves are also changing colors over here, also. The maple trees are now yellow and red. It IS only August. I'm so sad to know that Fall is just around the corner. I'm not ready for cold weather.

Jacob and I noticed some trees changing colors on the way to my mom's last Wednesday. We decided to pretend it wasn't happening yet!

I noticed a few red leaves on the dogwood trees this weekend here. It's so lush there. I wish I was there to pick and eat berries with you. YUMMY

that is a blueberry rake..you sort of scoop through the bushes with it and "rake" the berries

never heard of such a thing....my son needs one of these. He picked all our berries by hand.

I love seeing the trees turn color. Last year, I had DH and the kids go driving all over the local area looking at the trees turn. Only to come home and find the prettiest trees in our own backyard! The back acre is all wooded and when we came home the leaves were all diff shades of red/yellow.

I refused to look at the one of the leaves changing. I like the changing leaves, just refuse to except them until late September. :)

What a great way to spend a day! Do you literally rake blueberries? Not pick them one at a time?
