DH has a cousin named CHRIS CROSS

here was just an obit in our local paper for a poor guy named Elmer Fred Ertle (DD and I got a chuckle out of that). Elmer Ertle? Elmer Fred? (Fudd?)

Oh, and made a cashier's check out to Axl Rose (Yes the real one) someone was buying property from him.

One of my friends named her oldest Jake John Giang (pronounced with a J sound). I teased her about for a long time. I have a coworker with a son named Vincent. She married a man whoes last name was Vincent, and he adopted her son, so he is Vince Vincent. Her son is grown now, but when he was in school she says he was very proud of his name and liked to call himself Vincent squared.

so that made my name Awna Legg & many people pronouced it On A Legg

We joked that we were going to name our kids Peg & Harry!

oh...my niece's maiden name is Orange and she married a guy with the last name of Orange (no they are not cousins...lol). So her name is Andrea Orange Orange.

My sister is Erma Orange, and she used to work with a lady named Naomi Apple.

My DD went to school with a boy named Phelan (Feelin') Young. And I knew a lady whose name was Ada Dick.

Tab Crapper- actually her name was Tabitha, but just the last name on it's own is awful- no wonder she got married ASAP

One of our Local High School's name was Phelan High...that was changed a few years ago... only after so many complaints. Growing up in our town one of the dentist name was Dr. Payne.

Oh I had a narrow escape. My last name is pronounced "Rap" like the music.

Mom said she wanted to name my brother Reynold and me Sarah Ann. Yup--that would have been Reynold Wrap and Saran Wrap!!!!

i knew a kid whose name was jack imhoff.

there was also a girl named typhane pronounced tiffany.

we see all sorts of weird names where i work. there's kind of a running joke that if you name your child a wierd name or a regular name that is spelled wierd, they will end up in the picu. sometimes you just shake your head and wonder what parents were thinking.
