View Full Version : I had a first interview this afternoon!

The position is for a Senior Office Assistant for the Engineering Department in the Township of Collierville. (Phew, isn't that a mouthfull?) The job is opened until October 10th. The interviewer said he would show my application to the Chief Engineer and that if he felt I met all the qualifications he would call me in for another interview possibly some time next week. So wish me luck. Even though it's a 40 hour work week and I really do need to work, I would miss you all. So its kind of bittersweet for me. In any event, wish me luck.

Good luck! City government can be a good thing. There are always lots of politics going on, but lots of times you can just ignore all that. I hope you find the right job for you soon!

Mary,

Politics can be found just about everywhere. I spent many many years in corporate and said I would never go back to it. I guess I have to eat my words now as I desperately need a job.
