That would be a fun trip to make. I wonder how far from London JP & Artyfarty & Frankiesue live. Hmmm. Also cheaper to fly to London from Charlotte than to Indiana for Shackapalooza.

I would love to visit Stonehenge- would be getting cold this time of year-
I would like to go back to London but until the economy is a little better (or the election is over) I am afraid to spend much money-even on vacation and next to stamping that is my favorite thing to do.

Im 2 hours drive away on a good day from london unless you get more wings ? London is very expensive though and our economy is also not at its best. You may even if you shop around get a better deal too !!

oh, I could meet you there! I have relatives in England. But our economy is crappy at the moment too, so we're not going on holidays anywhere just now.

I would go. That's an amazing price. But with everything the way it is, once you get there, you're pocket book will definitely take a major hit.

That is a great deal Sherri.

I have flown into Raleigh/Durham quite a few times from the UK and have always paid at least double that .

I live about 5 hours drive from London and would love to meet up with anyone visiting England. However as Renu says, your pocket book would take major damage the way prices are here at the moment

I have a similar offer from here and Evan is actually trying to get me to plan a trip to the UK with him over his February school break. Hmmm - maybe we could plan a Shackie event across the pond!

Ok, I lied ... I misread the price. It was $255 ONE WAY which is still a great deal ..

Hey- is it for real? Now that my dd is in London- that would be a great deal. First I'd come to see you (nothing like inviting myself) and then fly to London....really though- it is a great deal I'd consider if it's for REAL and not a scam.

I'm thinking about a trip to London next May to see DD & family. If it works out, I'd love to see Sue/Artyfarty, JP/lakeslady and Sue/frankiesue. I'm open to travelling to the Lake District and DD goes to some big mall in Kent, I think it's Bluewater or something like that.

Me, me, I wanna go! That's very cheap. I think we paid almost $1000 to fly to Ireland. I think Patty paid about that to fly from CT to Charlotte too...and that wasn't even a direct flight!
