Some of you will have noticed that I am getting a bit more "into" colouring lately.
I have a box of assorted stamped images, mostly obtained through various swaps over the years ( Don't ask me why I bothered to participate in the image swaps when i had no intention of colouring them!!!)
So I was going through them trying to decide which to colour and use on a card.
But what is it with these stamp companies - my Bella images are nice, but she has no arms, just sticks. And the Tilda's are cute, but they have no noses or mouths, and I just noticed that they have no fingers either. I actually thought the first one I saw was wearing mittens!
Are there any images out there that aren't mssing various body parts ?

I know what you mean. I generally don't like the faces with no mouths. Some of them are cute, but I don't go crazy over them. Wierd, eh?

I know what you mean. I tend to stay away from people images because I think they often look distorted.

Chris, you are too, too funny! I'm with you on the missing body parts. I think many of them are cute, but I like mouths! And arms and legs! AND HEADS! LOL!

LOL.....I also can't stand to have missing body parts when drawing an image.....it appears I'm not the only one.

I'm with you all! I've wanted a Magnolia image for a long time, because they are adorable, EXCEPT for the missing mouth. So, I've never bought one. I'm not good enough at drawing to add a mouth myself. Too bad they don't sell a "mouth" clear stamp/set that people like us could add to the basic image.

I haven't resorted to drawing the mouths on the Magnolia's because I figured it would look worse if I did, but I sure have contemplated it! I did cut the wings off of two early ones, I knew I would never use them that way.

Well thanks Sarah. This website is awesome. Maybe now I might order some of those Tilda images that I couldn't stand with the missing facial orifice.

Sarah- I agree with the MFT images...I think they cut the heads off because they were too hard to draw. The line drawings they do are very simplistic so I think that's the reason.

I do like my maggies though...I don't really care for too many realistic kids though...I don't know why...Maybe it's because I deal with hundreds of them ALL DAY LONG!!! LOL...Come to think of it...maybe that's why I love my Magnolias without mouths!!! LOL

This is so true, I hate the way the Gorjuss girls don't have a mouth or nose and make a point of drawing one in each time.
