I think I might FINALLY have health insurance

I called a company today and they took my ap over the phone. It will take a month but she said she saw nothing that would cause me to be denied. She took my stats, Rx's etc. The fact that I have lost almost 20 pounds in the last 5 months is a huge factor. I guess all that walking paid off. I am sooooo relieved!!!!

Thank you all for the good wishes and congrats on the weight loss. I literally walked my butt off. I live pretty close to the shore, so I walked 2 miles at the beach every day. The funny thing about the insurance is the dental portion will be in force tomorrow, but the health part not for a month. And that's the one I was so worried about. It's not cheap, it's the same as my cobra was...about $500 a month. However, it will be a great tax deduction, and in spite of the fact that $500 is a lot each month, it's still cheaper than if some catastrophe happened and I had no coverage. I would loose everything I have. Now I just have to get safely to Dec 8.
