Today my daughter and i had played a game called quartet's or so.
In Dutch it's kwartetten ,quartet but then more of them.
It's a card game you got some cards and you ask for example do you got from the candy's the lollypops.
If the other person got that card they have to give it to you otherwise you have to pick a card from the stack.
It's more for children or to play with children.
Anyway we got that game with everything of the planet ,dinosaurs,threes,animals,land etc.
When we stopped playing it she took an old atlas book/book with maps.
And she said to me:
Did you know Antartica is in the East??
At first i didn't know what was wrong about this all.
And i mumble something like ahha okay.
And then HUH??what did you say?!
Antartica is in the east my daughter said again.
Why is that,i asked her.
And she showed my the book.
Pointing to an compass in the left corner of the book at the bottom of the page.
And she make an straight line from the word east to the right side of the book,saying look here is Antartica in the east.
I had to explain that it wasn't correct and how it used to be.
So now she understand that the compass normaly had to be in the middle but that there was no space for it anymore.
