I did some a package of 3x3 cards precut with vellum envelopes at Hobby Lobby the other day but I just think the 3x3 envys are so tiny they may get lost in the mail. I send mine in regular size envys.

envelope template from Judikins that is perfect for the 3" x 3" cards. I think it came in a set of templates....I've had them for a long time.
I agree that the small size would get lost, and may not even meet postal standards as a "legal" size!
So, mine, if I send them, will also be in a regular size envelope.

It nice to have the envie when I make a set as a gift I haven't mailed any , just use them as a gift tag , and I've used them to put alittle note on someone's desk.
