Has anyone ever had their KAI scissors stick OPEN?

My friend was using my KAI scissor to assemble some TAC stamps and it was getting real sticky. She tried some cleaner and then also tried to adjust the screw. NOW it's stuck open and we can't get it to budge at all! Any hints? Don't want to break it!:shocked:

No idea... Occassionally my Joannes has a scissor sharpening guy come set up shop, I bet he could fix it... You should see if there is one around you

Problem solved! My "Mr. Fix-it" son came home and promptly adjusted the screw and now it's working fine!

I'll miss him when he goes away to college next year! Fortunately, he's going to the "U" so he'll still be in town. I'll just have to save up my odd jobs for him when he comes home! (My DH is NOT a fix-it kind of guy!)
