I was wondering how you store your cling mount stamps.
I've been finding that some of my cling mount stamps, are really thick, so they are not fitting in the cd cases. So I have been using containers to store them in.

I store mine in envies. I stick them to a page protector that I cut in half, with a few sheets of copy paper in them. Or some other thick acetate, if I have it.
there was a thread on this with pics just a little while ago...i'll see if i can find it
here's one
but there's another...hang on
Yes I do the clings in the envies (6X9) cut in half and store them in the photo boxes. I use a transparency sheet if they aren't already on a sheet.
I keep sets together and store according to theme or holiday. I love my storage as it is easier for me than with the binders.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
I am almost finished moving mine from cd cases (was taking up too much room) into envies. I love it!! Much less room...My grandsons helped me to stamp each one on copy paper...this will be an inventory...then into an envie that is labeled with the category. The pages are labeled on top...these will go into a notebook. I'm putting a price next to each image. I'll add them up when all the stamps have been done. The wood mounted stamps will be photocopied on my printer with a price next to each one. When I have the total figure, 2 things will happen. First, I'll be in shock...probably faint!!! Then I'll call my insurance company and see if I need a rider or something. I need to include embellies and paper and tools etc for a total price. After seeing all the weather destroying houses and contents this year, I think I'll feel better with all this "precious stuff" covered. I know I could never replace it all if anything happened. Has anyone else done this???
I do what Paula and Lori do , exactly, and it works for me.

Haven't done this but what a great idea. I should start now while some of the prices are still fresh in my mind. I ws assured that this was a fairly inexpensive craft but after my first visit to Springfield I m not so sure. Oh well. Love it anyway

Hi Cind(y).....you'd be very smart to start now. I have often thought that if I put $1 in savings for every $1 I spent on stamping stuff, I'd be rich. I know the total will be sobering...but it will be much easier to catalog as you go. If not for insurance purposes, then at least so you don't buy the same thing twice. My record is 3 times. I bought one stamp 2 times, and gave one to my sister when I discovered the mistake. About a year later I tried to give it to her again and she pointed out I already gave it to her once. I believe it was a $12 stamp!!!![]()
