today Zack is having his tooth out
we dropped him off at the vets at 7:30 this morning. I just called to check on him and he is waking up now, it's 2:30. I can go get him at 4 or after. I hope my baby is feeling ok, and I hope he is not too sore. I'll update after he comes home and let everyone know how he's doing.

Awww, poor kitty. I hope he does well and has a fast recovery. Will he have to eat soft foods for a while?

Re: today Zack is having his tooth out
I asked the vet about soft food, but she said since he never eats it to just give him his dry, or that I can put some water or stock on his dry to make it soft, I remember when Lucky had his teeth out, he wouldn't tough wet food or his food if I moistened it, so we will see what Zack does

I guess it's easier on you if you don't have to wet it first!

Re: today Zack is having his tooth out
Awww poor baby! But I'm sure he'll feel so much better now. Since he'll be drugged for the rest of the night (takes FOREVER to get that stuff out of their systems!) you'll just have to have him on your lap all evening....
:-)
Sending kitty hugs!

Re: today Zack is having his tooth out
ok Zack is home, he wound up having 2 teeth out, and the rest got a good cleaning, and he got shaved too ( he was overdue) He seems to be doing fine and is happy to be home. I hope tomorrow he feels good too. I have antibiotics to give him for a week..oh ya, thats fun! not.

Glad Zack is doing well! Will he need kitty dentures? (Just kidding).
You can't change yesterday, but you can ruin today by worrying about tomorrow.
