There is a girl on Splitcoast named Katie

who has been diagnosed with having Stage 4 Gastric Cancer. I follow her blog and she had been having stomach problems for several months. She found this out just days before Christmas. She is 39 years YOUNG and has 3 small children.

At Splitcoast they are sending her cards of encouragement and I have her address if anyone is interested, pm me and i will give it to you.

I really do think cards can help cheer her up at a time like this. The more, the better.

Very, very sad indeed. Seems from reading her blog she didn't have symptoms that long.

So sorry for her family! She really gave it a fight from reading on the blog. I am sad for their loss.

Oh my goodness. I had no idea. I was just reading her blog last week and now this .... wow. She only had it for a year and now she's gone. So young too!!!
