    Upgraded my Cuttlebug

Ok so I finally broke down today while shopping and upgraded from my CB to the Big Shot. Anyone got any words of advice for me?? I am sort of scared to take it out of the box, we got home late and I haven't played with it yet.

I haven't cut fabric. I hear it does a great job of it with the Sizzix dies but I haven't tried real fabric. I use it to cut crynalin (sorry, no idea how to spell it) for my flowers all the time and have no problems.

Yes, lots of fabric! You can do like 8 layers all at one time with the BS.....love it! I have also cut metal soda cans, metal flashing, chipboard and felt with the steele ruled dies. Don't try any of that stuff with the little Sizzlit dies, they only cut paper.

Cindy, get that puppy out of the box and play! My favorite part of the BS is the cutting platform with pictures to tell you the correct sandwich. With my CB I used to ahve to always pull out the directions to figure it out.

OMG, there are enablers all around us....be careful, be very careful....too much exposure could cause wallets to drain and craft rooms to appear smaller .....
