Compare IPhone with 4G Evo

Once again I'm asking for your input.
I am seriously thinking of upgrading my phone.
Our DD wants me to get IPhone because of a visual chat feature/app.
I was thinking I'd do as well with the EVO.
I know Sprint will sell IPhones in Oct.
What is your experience/input on how these 2 compare?

I Have an iphone4 and I'd be lost without it. I absolutely love the camera on it and I can copy the pics onto my memory card and print them out and you would NEVER know they were from a cell phone. I love the app store, it has everything you can think of. I do all my banking, bill paying and social networking off of it. I'm actually typing this right now from it. I can't go anywhere without it. I have the shack saved to my home screen so I can just click right on it an check to see what everyone is up to. I have a ton of free games and I just love it!

I had an old iPhone LOVED IT. I couldn't get a new iphone 4 because it was too expensive so my dh got me a HTC I.spire. it has some awesome features and is super easy to use. I think either are great phones. Don't know about the EVO though.

I am not familar with the EVO but I got an i4 a few months ago. I also have a Blackberry that is my work phone. I love all the features on the i4 and feel that my Blackberry is now an antique! DH has an iPad and I have most of his features, only in mini version, on my iphone.

I just got the iPhone 4 last week and so far I love it. It has tons of cool features and lots of different apps. I am using it now to type this!!!!

Joanie, my son in Canada and daughter in the UK both have Iphones and on my birthday we had some 'facetime'. I could see daughter and her two boys and there was a small inset picture of me with the 2 grandkids here and it was very exciting. If I could afford one, I'd get one myself. Go for it.
